The P profile is the zinc clip-on weight built for standard steel wheels on passenger vehicles, distinguished from the AW alloy-wheel version by both its clip geometry and its clip material. Here the clip itself is made from hardened, quenched spring steel rather than a softer alloy, chosen specifically to deliver the stronger, more rigid grip that a steel wheel flange requires to stay seated.
The weight body remains high-purity die-cast zinc, which gives it better corrosion resistance than an all-steel weight while still keeping the surface gentle enough that it won't mark or scuff the rim during clip-on installation. That combination, a steel clip carrying a zinc body, is what lets the P profile hold securely through the vibration of high-speed driving without giving up the softer touch zinc offers over bare steel.
Ten weight points from 5g through 50g in 5g increments, all passivation-treated against rust, cover the bulk of routine correction needs on steel-wheeled passenger cars. Being lead-free throughout, it's built as a straightforward upgrade path for shops moving away from older lead-based steel weights toward a more environmentally compliant standard.
