TR6231C Jumbo Valve Cores

Some valve stems use a larger internal bore than the standard passenger-vehicle pattern, and the TR6231C jumbo core is sized specifically to seal that wider opening. It's the part a technician reaches for when a standard-size core simply won't seat properly in an oversized stem.

With a working range of 0 to 200 psi, it handles the same broad pressure spread as a standard core despite its larger body, so switching to the jumbo pattern doesn't mean giving up pressure range. That keeps it usable across the mix of vehicles a shop is likely to encounter with jumbo-bore stems.

The larger cross-section gives the core more material to resist wear from repeated air flow and mounting, which is useful on stems that see frequent pressure checks or inflation in commercial settings. Keeping a few of these on hand prevents a jumbo-stem vehicle from sitting idle while a shop tracks down the right-size part.
